How to check for syntax errors

To use the syntax error utility, enter one or more sentences in the upper part of the window.

In the illustration, the sentence in the first line contains an error. Press the "Check syntax" button, and a message describing the error is displayed in the lower part of the window.

Any line that has # as its first character is ignored by the syntax error utility.
